Prerequisite: OD Completion of Art & Science of Optometric Care - A
Behavioral Perspective (BVC) and
VT/Visual Dysfunctions
For: Optometrists, Vision Therapists, and Administrative and PR/Marketing
Staff
It is one thing to have the technical abilities to provide excellent
behavioral vision care services and another to be
able to promote, market, and
administer a practice which offers these services as a major part of
the practice.
Without PR, marketing and
efficient practice management, many patients who should be getting
your services may
go without care--a loss for them
as well as a loss for your business. This course will help you
maximize the number
of patients benefiting from your
services and will give you sound business principles on which to
build the business
end of your practice.
Each course participant will receive a manual which includes sample
seminar and screening flyers, sample letters
and marketing follow-up
techniques, etc.
**Courses begin at 9:00 am each morning and will finish between 4:30 and
5:00 pm the first four days.
Lunch is
included in your tuition and will be brought in each day with
participants choosing their entrees from
various
menus from local eating establishments. On the last day of the
course we begin at 9:00 am and generally
finish
up by 3:00 pm.
