The
Optometric Extension Program Foundation (OEP) and the
College of Optometrists in Vision
Development (COVD) provide the Binocular Vision and Vision
Therapy Information Kit to all 3rd year members of the
American Optometric Student Association (AOSA). The Kits are
delivered through the AOSA Trustee for each school and college every
Fall.
Support
for the Kits has been provided by
Bernell Corporation and the Rosemore Family Foundation. OEP and
COVD thank these two donors for their significant contributions.
The Kit
includes a CD with a number of informative
articles related to binocular vision and vision therapy.
In
addition the Kits contain a Brock String with instructions on
clinical use; a Hendrickson Lifesaver Card for testing and training
convergence; a near point fixation target; and the OEP Mystery
Picture that explains the difference between sight and vision.
Information on services available from COVD and OEP
is included on the CD.
